Just wanted to let everyone know that I am done betting baseball for the year.

Sometimes its just not meant to be. I was due for a bad year, and here it is. Hopefully as I look back I will learn something about this year and become even stronger in the future. I was beginning to feel like I was not capable of having a losing year. This year humbled the shit out of me.

I want to give my deepest apology to all those that followed my plays this year. I am so sorry for the loss. That almost hurts me more than me losing my own money. I hit the -50 unit mark for season and decieded that enough was enough. Im mentally drained and I have nothing left in the tank.

I look forward to putting this mess of a season behind me and start off new next season.

I am fully done for the season. I will not be back in a week, month or after the all-star break, other than some paper bets for my buddy KRUSER for his contest. Please dont take those plays seriously.

The good news is, there are some solid cappers this year that are falling on the right side of the 7th,8th, and 9th inning blown leads.

JOURNEYMAN, TOMMOROWS NEWSPAPER, SSI, just to name a few.

As for me, no more bets. Going to spend the rest of the season cheering on my BRAVES to win another division.

Once again, Im sorry for the mess. I just had to raise the white flag on the 2006 season.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

KRUSER, I know you have a contest that requires me to make about 30 more picks for you to be eligable to win the contest you are in. I will go ahead and make paper only bets for your sake so you can finish your requirment of plays. They wont be capped, im done with that for the season.

I will countinue to post uncapped plays in THE BOYS OF SUMMER CONTEST as long as im mathmatically alive.

I almost forgot to mention.

I have had my share of bashers for this season, but I have also gotten some tremdous support this year from some tremendous posters at this forum.

For every basher, there was 5 people trying to keep my spirits up this season.

I want to personally say thanks to all the good posters that posted with extreme class.

I only wish the best of success for each and everyone of you for the rest of the season.

Good luck in your future endeavors chop, I know it was a tough season for you but if you gain your confidence back I don't think anyone would criticize you for posting again. Good luck to the Saints this season

Thanks

Glad to see you go. Ever since I saw you post one side here, and the other team on the same game over on Statfox, I knew you were a fake. I would say what you're dealing with is just Karma man. And for the apology to those who lost cash on your plays. I'm sure that really makes them feel a lot better.

This is totally unnecessary...

This guy has had a difficult season and you post this garbage????

Amazing...should have some sort of age requirement here...you make this place a kindergarten...you mentioned bad karma...well kicking someone when they are down is a sure fire way to bring that upon oneself...enjoy it...

Grow some stones and post your plays kid.

I have never even visted the forum at statfox. Can you please post a link to this bogus thread you are talking about?

Chop, take some time off, maybe even a good 6-8 weeks and come back strong the second half.

I lost two late ones tonight with Oak and Det, this stuff just happens to the best of them sometimes.

Regroup and when you're ready you will know it, I have no doubt you will be back.

I went through this in 2003, trust me I know how bad it can get but the strong survive!

Be a little more humble and learn from it....Gambling usually humbles everyone eventually.

Chop, don't waste your time on these clowns

As for the betting aspect of it. Like I told you before I had the same EXACT thing happen to me this football season. It does humble you. I know the money hurts but the feeling that you have lost your gift of gambling hurt me as much as the cash.

You will get the touch back for one reason and that is because you care and have passion for betting bases and if you want to succeed in anything in life, passion is a must and from reading you daily you LOVE betting baseball.

I was up over 30 units in 3 weeks and have slowly pissed away 2/3's of that. I decided to walk away and just scalp for a few months, something to get my confidence back. I think sometimes it is good to put a + symbol at the top of the page even if it is less than $50 dollars. Maybe you could look into that.

Either or good luck you have shown a lot of class. Like I told you before just think of it as the books are holding your money for a while (like a bank) and you are going to pick it up at a later time. Thats what I do. Hang in there:103631605

I've seen a guy named "CHOP" over at Statfox. Maybe that's who he's confusing you with.

Better luck in future baseball seasons.

Chop, hate to see you end the season but I understand exactly how you feel. Everyone who followed your picks and lost well the TRUTH is they would have lost anyway because they all wanted something for nothing and you gave it to them. Not all the people but most of the followers couldn't pick their brother out of a room filled with JACKASSES so it all fell on you. I have gambled a long time and had great runs, fair runs and losing runs but I always accepted the blame for it myself just like you do. You are a stand up guy who has tried your best to help and you have, just not the last 2 months. I would not quit but that is your choice. As I close i will say this I make my own plays and lots win but lots lose and once in a while and only once in a while I use other players opinions on games for my own use. It is a tool and not a excuse to blame you or Teazeman or Bigshott or anyone. Wish you well and thanks for your imputs at the RX and as far as some ignorant comments, I pay no attention and neither should you!!!!!!! You will be at the Bash? Really look forward in seeing you there.

Well trust me. Never heard of CHOP. Thats not me, I assure you. If this Chop guy was on the opposite side of me on a play at STATFOX, chances are the guy won the bet. So congrats to CHOP. Whoever he is.

Chop, sorry to hear you are done. But I agree with you and Heelman. Everyone hates to lose and believe me my phone rings daily when my friends and some not wanting to know what I like, What I'm gonna play ( they have all learn to trust my gut feelings too). And believe me I hate losing but hate even more to know I made my friends lose. People follow you cuz of all the money you have made, and I'm sure you have made them more than they lost. BOL to ya. Hope to see ya at the Bash, really looking forward to this Texas Hold'em.
:cryingcry REALLY SORRY TO SEE YA LEAVE. BUT MOST OF ALL KNOWING HOW BAD YOU FEEL INSIDE.
